The previous generation Manta SOUND Sleep Mask (often referred to as V1 or Original) combined 100% blackout with integrated, ultra-thin Bluetooth headphones, designed specifically for comfort for side sleepers.

The mask is known for its high level of adjustability and thoughtful design features for light and sound control. 
 
100% Blackout: Featured proprietary C-shaped eye cups that created a complete blackout seal and put zero pressure on the eyes or eyelashes.
 
Ultra-Thin Speakers: The integrated Bluetooth speakers are "razor-thin" (around 5mm) to be comfortable for side sleepers, designed so they wouldn't press painfully into the ear when lying on a pillow.
 
Adjustable Fit: Both the C-shaped eye cups and the speakers are infinitely adjustable via simple-pull tabs and a hook-and-loop (Velcro) backing system, allowing for a personalized fit for different face types.
 
Battery Life: Provided approximately 20 hours of non-stop playback at 100% volume on a single charge.
 
Materials & Washability: The head strap is made of a two-layer design of perforated foam and mesh for airflow. The inner layer and eye cups are machine-washable after peeling off the outer layer containing the electronics.
 
User Experience: The mask does not feature disruptive audible low-battery notifications, instead using a small LED indicator only during charging or pairing to avoid interrupting sleep. It also comes with an optional top strap to prevent slippage during the night.
